Baishan Town, subordinate to Mashan County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the north central part of Mashan County. It is adjacent to LiDang and Guzhai Yao townships and Guling town in the East, Linwei town in the south, Qiaoli town in the west, Bailongtan town in the north, di Su Township and Longwan Township in Du'an Yao Autonomous County in the north. The administrative area of Baishan town is 234.63 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Baishan town registered residence was 88657.
In August 1958, the red flag commune was established. In 1960, the red flag commune was changed into Chengxiang commune. In 1980, Chengxiang commune was divided into Chengxiang town. In 1982, Chengxiang town was changed into Baishan town. In 1984, Hequn commune was changed into Hequn township. In July 2003, Baishan town and Hequn Township merged into Baishan town. As of June 2020, Baishan town has jurisdiction over 10 communities and 13 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in Hequn village.
In 2018, there were 70 industrial enterprises in Baishan Town, including 6 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In August 1958, the red flag commune was established.
