Shanquan town
Shanquan town is located in the west of Longjiang County, Heilongjiang Province, bordering on Inner Mongolia border in the west, Longjiang Town in the East, Jingxing town in the South and jiqinhe Township in the north. Shan Quan town is a combined Town, which is originally composed of the township, the willow and the spring springs. It is a hilly area, with an area of 706.35 square kilometers, with 19 administrative villages and 110 natural villages. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence was 58902. The town government is located in Ping'an Village.

Historical evolution
In 1956, quanzigou township was established. In 1958, the three townships of Longshan, Xietao and xinglongquan were merged; later, the two townships of jinshanpu and liushuquanyan were merged.
In 1962, it was divided into three communes: Liushu commune, toudou commune and Shanquan commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a town. In 2002, duibao township was incorporated.
In 2004, Liushu township was incorporated into the city.

The town government is located in Ping'an Village.
