Sanhe Town

Sanhe Town, subordinate to Hezheng County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the north central part of Hezheng County, bordering on buyuxiang town of Guanghe County in the East, facing Dalang Township across Guangtong River in the south, Chengguan town and bujiazhuang Township in the west, and sanlipu town and chenjiaji Township in the north. The area is 25.12 square kilometers. In 2018, 12987 people registered residence.

In 1950, it was returned to Anyuan District. In 1954, haozhigou township was established. In December 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged to establish Hexiang (under the jurisdiction of Guangtong county). In 1958, the reform commune was established. In September 1959, Sanhe was transferred from Guangtong county to Hezheng county. In February 1983, Sanhe township was established. In February 2002, the township was set up. In October 2019, Sanhe Town governs one community and seven administrative villages.

In 2018, Sanhe Town has 5 industrial enterprises, 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, and 37 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1950, it was returned to Anyuan District.

By the end of 2011, Sanhe Town had jurisdiction over seven villages, including shihujia, Yangjia, Hujia, zhouliujia, Qianshan, Erjia and gaxinzhuang, and 72 villager groups.

In October 2019, Sanhe Town governs one community: Hongrui community; seven administrative villages: Yangjia village, Hujia village, zhouliujia village, Qianshan village, Erjia village, gaxinzhuang village and shihujia village; the town people's government is stationed in shihujia village.

The terrain of Sanhe Town is mainly mountainous, with more mountains and less rivers. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. The highest point is located in Nanyang Mountain, 2450m above sea level; the lowest point is located in Yangjiacun valley.
