Gaomiaobao Township
Gaomiaobu Township, belonging to Wanquan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Wanquan District, bordering beixintun Township in the East, guoleizhuang town and anjiabao Township in the south, Jiubao Township and ximalin town in the west, and beixintun Township in the north. It is 19.76 kilometers away from the people's government of Wanquan District, with a total area of 134 square kilometers.
In the period of the Republic of China, gaomiaobu Township belonged to the Second District of Wanquan County, which was called Gaoyi township. In March 1984, gaomiaobu commune was transformed into gaomiaobu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Gao Miao Fort township was 13280. As of June 2020, gaomiaopu township has 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in gaomiaopu village.

History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, gaomiaobu Township belonged to the Second District of Wanquan County, which was Gaoyi township.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to the Second District of Wanquan county.
In April 1953, gaomiaopuo township was set up.
In August 1958, it belonged to ximalin commune.
In July 1961, gaomiaopuo commune was founded after it was separated from ximalin commune.
In March 1984, gaomiaopuo commune was transformed into gaomiaopuo township.
In 2016, it belongs to Wanquan district.
