Tuanjie Township, belonging to Tongyu County, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, is located in the west of Tongyu County, bordering Xinfa Township in the East and south, Bayannaoer Sumu, Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west, and Xinglongshan town in the north, with an administrative area of 584.26 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was a nomad of tzye twang banner in the zhe League, and in December 1983, the commune changed its hometown. History of construction
During the Qing Dynasty, it was a nomadic land in the northeast of tushiyetuwang banner in Zhelimu League.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fourth District of Zhanyu county.
In February 1930, it belonged to Jixian village of four districts.
In February 1946, it belonged to Tuanjie village of six districts.
In March 1956, four townships were set up, namely, democracy, victory station, union and Liuhe.
In September 1958, the four townships of democracy, Shengli station, Lianhe and Liuhe were merged into Tuanjie Township; later, the township was transformed into a commune; in October of the same year, it belonged to Tongyu County.
In December 1960, the management area was transformed into a production brigade.
In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
