Yanjiang town

Yanjiang town is located in the southeast of Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, on the South Bank of Lingjiang river. It borders Taizhou City in the southeast and xunqiao town in the northwest. It is about 20 kilometers away from Linhai municipal government and 25 kilometers away from Taizhou Municipal government. It is only one hole away from Huangyan District. It is known as the "south gate of Linhai". In January 2002, due to the adjustment of administrative divisions, it was formed by the merger of shuiyuanyang town and Hongguang town. It is named after the Lingjiang river. The coastline is 20 km long and the town area is 88.16 square kilometers (2017). It governs 46 administrative villages with 47107 people (2017).
