Dapo town
Dapo Town, belonging to Yushu City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of Yushu City, bordering Baoshou town in the East, fat town in Shulan city in the south, shanghewan town in Jiutai district and Chaoyang town in Dehui city across the Songhua River in the southwest, and Xiushui town in the West and North. It is 27 kilometers away from Yushu City, covering an area of 120.1 square kilometers.
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, Dapo town was located in Xiushui district. In February 1985, Dapo town was replaced by Dapo town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Tai Po town was 34437. As of June 2020, Dapo town has one community and eight administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Dapo village.
In 2018, there were 110 industrial enterprises in Dapo Town, including 10 above scale and 65 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xiushui district.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Xiushui baodapojia. During the Japanese puppet period, it belonged to Xiushui village office. In January 1946, it belonged to the seventh (Xiushui) and eighth (Heilinzi) districts of Yushu County democratic government. In January 1947, Dapo district was set up, belonging to Yunan County, Jilin Province. In October 1948, it was assigned to Baoshou district.
In October 1949, it was divided into Baoshou (ninth) district and Xiushui (tenth) district.
In December 1957, it was changed to Dapo Township operation area.
In May 1959, Dapo commune was changed into the operation area of Dapo township.
In March 1983, Dapo commune was transformed into Dapo township.
In February 1985, Dapo township was changed from township to town.

At the end of 2011, Dapo town had one community under its jurisdiction, and nine administrative villages, including Dapo, Gengjia, Xishan, Nanfang, Hougang, Chengnan, Liangjia, Xixu and zhenqu.
