Taipingchuan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Changling County, 63 kilometers away from Changling County; it borders on 88 Township in the East, Daxing Town in the south, Baokang Town, tubuxinsumu town and qikeshu Township in Horqin Left Wing Middle Banner of Tongliao City in the southwest and northwest, bianzhao town in Tongyu County of Baicheng City in the north, and Beizheng town in Changling County in the northeast. The total administrative area is 442.95 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Taonan Prefecture; in 2005, Liuheyuan village of Beizheng town was assigned to taipingchuan town. By the end of 2018, Taiping town had 40113 registered residence population. As of June 2020, taipingchuan town has 5 communities and 10 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Taonan Prefecture.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it was assigned to Liaoyuan County, Fengtian province, and set up the eighth district. Taipingchuan village was established in 1938, Changling County in 1941, shuangchangliao Central County in 1946, and Changling County in July 1947.
In 1949, taipingchuan street was set up.
In September 1952, taipingchuan town was changed.
In February 1958, it was changed into taipingchuan township; in September, it was changed into Hongqi commune; at the end of the year, it was changed into taipingchuan commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a town.
In 2002, Xinfeng township was abolished and merged into taipingchuan town.
In 2005, Liuheyuan village of Beizheng town was included.
