Gaoyu Town, Hanshan District, Handan City, covers an area of 52.7 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 40205 (2017). It is located in the south of Hanshan district and the people's Government of Gaoyu town is located in Gaoyu. Gaoyu township was set up in June 1953 and got its name because of its location.

Located in Gaoyu Town, commonly known as "Pingdingshan", it is the official grandmother Temple of Cizhou, which is jointly built by Cixian County, Linzhang county and Cheng'an county.

The temple covers an area of more than 10 mu. Behind the mountain gate, there are three courtyards, the middle courtyard is Yuhuang hall and wusheng Pavilion, the east courtyard is Sanhuang hall and Buddha Hall, and the West courtyard is Bixia palace and laomu hall.
