Jinshan Township is located in the southeast suburb of Gucheng District, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is adjacent to Yongsheng County in the East, Qihe Township in the south, Xianghe office in the West and Dadong Township in the north. It is the south gate to Lijiang City. There are 11 ethnic minorities, including Bai, Naxi and Lisu, with a total area of 286 square kilometers and an average altitude of 2400 meters. It has jurisdiction over Jinshan, xintuan, Dongyuan, Liangmei, Guifeng, Yangxi and Wenhua There are 10 village committees and 97 villager groups in Dongjiang, yanle and lamagu.
