Chengdong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Boye County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Boye County, 12.2km away from the county in the southeast. It is adjacent to Xiaodian town and Beiyang town in the East, Yaodu street, Beiduan village and Xifo village in Anguo City in the south, zhangjiaying village in Xifo village in Anguo City in the west, and Lizhuang Township in Qingyuan District in the north. As of June 2020, Chengdong town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Chengdong town is located at No. 51, Fanrong Road, Chengdong village.

In 1957, Chengdong township was established.

In January 2016, with the consent of Hebei provincial government, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved Boye county to abolish Chengdong Township and establish Chengdong Town, taking the original administrative region of Chengdong township as the administrative region of Chengdong town.
