Songjiang town, subordinate to Jiaohe City, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Jiaohe City, bordering Xinnong street and piaohe town in the East, Huadian City in the south, Fengman District in Jilin City in the west, Qingling town in the north, Henan Street in the northeast, 22 kilometers away from Jiaohe City in the northeast, with an area of 585.63 square kilometers.
In 1933, the area around Songjiang town was designated as bajiabao; on December 13, 1992, it was changed from Songjiang township to Songjiang town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Songjiang town was 21881. As of June 2020, Songjiang town has one community and 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Songjiang village.

History of construction
Baojia was established in 1933. In 1938, bajiabao was transformed into bajiacun. In 1946, Wangjiagang district was established.
In 1954, Wang Jiagang divided Songjiang, Ailin and dailuhe into three villages.
In 1958, the three villages of Songjiang, Ailin and dailuhe merged into Songjiang township.
On December 13, 1992, it was changed from Songjiang township to Songjiang town.
