Qingshan Township
Qingshan Township, belonging to Yushu City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Yushu city. It is the junction of Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province. It faces Wuchang City across the Lalin River in the East and North, Sihe town in the South and Xinzhuang Town in the West. It is 65km away from Yushu City, covering an area of 130.52km2.
In the early Republic of China, Qingshan township was the third Police District of Yushu county; in 1983, it was changed from Qingshan commune to Qingshan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Qingshan township was 31117. As of June 2020, there are 11 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Qingshan village, and the Township People's government is located in Qingshan village.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and 69 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Qingshan township.
History of construction
Qingshan township is named after the township government's residence in Qingshan village.
In the early Republic of China, it was the third Police District of Yushu county. During the puppet Manchu period, it belonged to three districts of Yushu county. In 1946, it belonged to the provisional revolutionary government of Qingshan District. In 1948, it belonged to the 20th (Sihe) District of Yushu county.
In September 1958, Qingshan commune was established.
In 1983, it was changed from Qingshan commune to Qingshan township.
