Dapo town

Dapo town is a township under the jurisdiction of Xishui County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the northeast of Xishui County, bordering Qijiang County and Jiangjin District in the northeast, Wenshui town in the South and Sanchahe town in the West. The whole town covers an area of 167.7 square kilometers. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The three-dimensional climate is obvious. The highest altitude is 1577 meters (Feige Village), and the lowest altitude is 850 meters (shengliba Village). Xishui river winds from north to south There is a National Forest Park - Flying Pigeon scenic area.

Dapo town has taken a more successful step in the development of rural tourism. Haozhilong in Longdeng village and wanglongkan in Luojiaba village have been included in the planning for further construction. Dapo will strive to make tourism a dazzling "business card" to publicize Dapo and form a unique "rural tourism" demonstration area.

On December 28, 2015, Guizhou provincial government (QFH [2015] No. 319) approved to cancel the establishment of Dapo town in Dapo township of Xishui County.

Tongtianhe turtle

After walking on the water road, there is a big stone several meters long beside the river, which looks like a turtle and stretches its head into the mountain. It is said that the tortoise of Tongtianhe came back to Tongtianhe by the way of the four monks and disciples of Tang Dynasty. When he was carried to the river, he learned that his cultivation of Taoism had not yet been reported to the Buddha of the Tathagata. In anger, he bumped the four disciples into the river and took the opportunity to steal a Scripture. The Tathagata Buddha was very angry when he heard about this. He ordered the turtle never to return to the heavenly court. He stayed in the deep mountain forest of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau to practice and live by the Feige river. Because of this, the tortoise had no face to see the immortals, and put his head in the mud. So far, he has not put it out.

Boundary stele of Guizhou and Chongqing

At the junction of Feige and simian mountain in Chongqing, there are three stone tablets standing in the two provinces. This is the boundary between Guizhou and Sichuan, and between Guizhou and Chongqing. According to records, the first stele erected at the junction of the two provinces was in the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, there was an obvious boundary between Guizhou and Sichuan. Due to the destruction of the cultural revolution, the earliest steles were erected during the cultural revolution, and after the cultural revolution, Guizhou and Chongqing were separated After Chongqing was established, the boundary stele of Guizhou and Chongqing was established in 1997. This stone tablet is a witness of history, and many tourists have to take photos here.
