Qijia town
Qijia Town, belonging to Guanghe County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Guanghe County, adjacent to Taohe River in the East, facing Lintao County of Dingxi City, connected with Huguan township of Kangle County in the south, Shuiquan Township in the West and Sanjia market town in the north. The area is 67.06 square kilometers. In 2018, 27734 people registered residence.
Before 1949, it belonged to Wanghe township. In 1958, it was renamed Shuiquan commune, and paiziping was under the jurisdiction of Shuiquan commune. In November 1961, paiquanzhong commune separated from shuiziping commune. In 1968, Shuijia commune was abolished and dengjiawan, shangmajia, huangjiawan and other brigades were put under the jurisdiction of paiziping commune. In March 1983, paiziping commune was changed into paiziping township. In June 2006, paiziping township was changed into Qijia town. In October 2019, Qijia town governs 12 administrative villages.
In 2018, Qijia town has 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
Before 1949, it belonged to Wanghe township.
In 1958, it was renamed Shuiquan commune, and paiziping was under the jurisdiction of Shuiquan commune.
In November 1961, paiziping commune was separated from Shuiquan commune.
In 1968, Shuijia commune was abolished and dengjiawan, shangmajia, huangjiawan and other brigades were put under the jurisdiction of paiziping commune.
In March 1983, paiziping commune was changed into paiziping township.
In June 2006, paiziping township was changed into Qijia town.
