Youth Street, originally belongs to Yunlong District, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It was withdrawn in 2006.

brief introduction

The former Youth Street is located in the center of Xuzhou City. It used to be the residence of the municipal government.

evolution

In 1951, the Youth Street Working Committee was established, and in 1956, it was the Youth Street. In 1997, with an area of 0.8 square kilometers and a population of 28000, it has jurisdiction over 15 neighborhood committees including tiehuo, Xinxu, huaihaitang, Xuanwu, Kaiming, Gongyuan, Kuidong, Kuihe, Datong, T-shaped, Zhonggulou, Qingnian, Tongyi, Pengcheng and Yibo. There are the bell and Drum Tower built in 1931, the earliest Park in Xuzhou, kuaiyaiting Park (built in the 15th year of Guangxu), the largest Catholic Church in Jiangsu and the only mosque in the city. In April 2006, according to the superior documents, Yunlong District merged the youth sub district office with Pengcheng sub district office, which was called Pengcheng sub district office.
