Xingtian town was called fengyangli in ancient times. Because it was a post station of Fujian Jiangxi transportation, Huangting post was built, so the village was named Huangting city and Huangting street. Location traffic
Punan, wushao and Ningwu expressways, which are related to the long-term economic development of Northern Fujian, all pass through Xingtian. Xingtian Village
Xingtian village is located in the south of Wuyishan City, in Xingtian Town, adjacent to Jianyang boundary, and adjacent to Fengpo, Chengcun, Nanan and other villages, with convenient transportation. The total area of the village is more than 22000 mu, including 3900 mu of cultivated land, 1317.8 mu of garden land and 12063.8 mu of forest land. Xingtian village has 3 natural villages, 24 villager groups, 689 households and 2956 people, including 1651 labors.

Xingtian, formerly known as Huangting, used to be a land and water wharf that went north to Central Plains and south to Fujian and Vietnam. Lu You, a poet of the Northern Song Dynasty, wrote the famous poem "Huangting" in praise of the prosperity of Xingtian. Therefore, Xingtian village is also known as Huangting. There is Huangting Academy in Xingtian culture and sports station.
Fengpo Village
Fengpo village is located at the side of Nanwu tourist road, Xingtian Town, Wuyishan City. It is a typical administrative village with concentrated villages. It is about 20km away from the town and 30km away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Xingtian, Huangtu, Chengcun and Xijiao villages. It has three natural villages and 13 villager groups, with a total number of 467 households and a total population of 1692 people, including 811 labor force. The total area of the village is 17800 mu, including 3778 mu of cultivated land, 967 mu of garden land and 10954 mu of forest land.

According to textual research, there is a very unique folk activity in Fengpo Village -- "pulling candle bridge". This folk activity began in the eighth year of Xianfeng (1858) of the Qing Dynasty. In order to conquer the fire in Huoyan mountain at the end of the village, villagers adopted a folk activity of "making fire with fire". It has a history of 150 years. This activity has become the common culture of Fengpo villagers. During the first month of each year, villagers in the community are organized to carry out the activity of "pulling candle bridge", and gradually evolved into a kind of "capable body" In addition, it can enrich villagers' life, unite villagers and exercise their body. In 2007, under the leadership of the municipal and town cultural departments, the provincial intangible cultural heritage declaration work was carried out for the folk custom activity of "pulling candle bridge", which is in progress.
Huangtu Village
Huangtu village is located in the middle of Xingtian Town, 7 km away from the seat of the town government. Hengnan railway and Nanwu highway run through the village. The interchange of Punan expressway is only 2 km away from the village. There are 6 natural villages, 14 villager groups, 582 households and 1920 people in the village, including 1200 labor force. The total area of the village is 27915.4 mu, including 3600 mu of cultivated land, 1064 mu of garden land and 22251.4 mu of forest land.

Xijiao Village
Xijiao village is located 9 kilometers to the west of Xingtian town government. The village has 8 natural villages, 12 villager groups, 533 households and 1924 people, including 1335 labor force and 668 migrant workers and businessmen. The total area of the village is 34036.4 mu, including 3540.4 mu of cultivated land, 760 mu of garden land and 27329.5 mu of forest land.
The villagers are mainly engaged in agricultural production, and the leading industries are rice and tobacco. In 2008, the tobacco planting area was 1470 mu, with an output value of 2.61 million yuan; the rice planting area was 3403 mu, with an output value of 3.7 million yuan; in 2007, the financial income of villages in the western suburbs was about 160000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 5002 yuan.
Xiandian Village
Xiandian village is located 15 kilometers north of Xingtian Town, and Wuyishan entrepreneurial ecological park is located in the village. The total area of the village is 44743.6 mu, including 4892.6 mu of cultivated land, 2422.5 mu of garden land and 34383 mu of forest land. In 2008, the financial income of Xiandian village was 150000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4565 yuan.
