Shahe Town

Shahe Town, belonging to Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Dongfeng County, at the junction of Dongfeng, Yitong, Panshi and Hailong. It borders chaoyangshan town of Panshi City and kangdaying town of Meihekou city in the East, Huanghe town in the south, Liaoheyuan town of Dongliao County in the west, nadanbo town and Heyuan town of Yitong Manchu Autonomous County in the north. It is 45 kilometers away from the county. Its total area is 166.09 square kilometers.

In 1961, Huangnihe commune was established as Shahe commune. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In March 1992, the township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Shahe town was 14526. As of June 2020, Shahe Town has 12 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there were 30 industrial enterprises in Shahe Town and 32 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
