Town Racecourse
Ma Chang town, a county in Chaoyang City, Liaoning, is located in the northern part of Jianping County, located in the north of Jianping county. It is adjacent to the Ru Fu Gou township. It connects to the Jianping town in the south. The West connects with the town of success and Hei Shui, and the North and the north are twenty family towns. The area is 207.37 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the registered residence population was 15661.
In 1903, the horse farm belonged to Chaoyang mansion. In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the township system was abolished and the village system was changed. The county government was reorganized into the government office, and Machang village was returned to the Jianping government office. In October 2001, luofugou township was transferred from Machang township to restore the township system. In 2002, the administrative villages were merged, and the original 13 villages became 9. As of June 2020, Machang town has nine administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In 1903, the horse farm belonged to Chaoyang mansion.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the township system was abolished and the village system was changed. The county government was reorganized into the government office, and Machang village was returned to the Jianping government office.
In the eighth year of the Republic of China (1919), the administrative regions merged to set up sub stations, and the racecourse was divided into two sub stations, belonging to the Second District of Heishui.
In 1930, Jianping County readjusted its administrative division and set up Machang Town, which belongs to the first District Office of Jianping in Rehe province.
In 1940, Machang village belonged to Kalaqin Right Banner.
On August 14, 1945, all villages in the territory belonged to Jianping district.
In the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), the system of "Xiang", "Bao" and "Jia" was implemented.
In August 1947, the original village system was restored. Jianping County readjusted its administrative division into nine districts, and Racecourse was the ninth district.
On July 10, 1949, Jianping County was divided into 13 districts again, with horse farm as the second district.
In 1953, a mutual aid group was established.
In 1954, the junior society was established.
In 1956, the senior society was established. That year, the Second District of Racecourse was abolished, belonging to Jianping district.
In March 1958, the whole county was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township, and the Machang satellite commune was established.
In 1961, the satellite commune of the racecourse was divided into three communes: 20 Jiazi commune, Luo Fugou commune and Racecourse commune.
On March 1, 1968, the Management Committee of Racecourse commune was changed into the Revolutionary Committee of Racecourse commune.
In October 1980, the Management Committee of Racecourse commune was restored.
In 1983, the society was withdrawn and the township was built.
In August 1999, the township was merged into the town, and luofugou township was merged into Machang township.
In March 2000, Machang township was removed and Machang town was built. The administrative area under its jurisdiction remained unchanged.
In October 2001, luofugou township was transferred from Machang township to restore the township system.
In 2002, the administrative villages were merged, and the original 13 villages became 9.

Tiaohe, the only river in Machang Town, originates from the north side of xitianmen in Wanfengshan village, YangShuling township. It goes straight into Sanjia, longtouyingzi, Machang, chijiawopu, hadahuoshao, Hebei 50jiazi, Changgao and Weitang in Machang town along Jianping Town, and then flows through bei20jiazi and into Laoha River in Aohan territory. The drainage area of the racecourse is 30.2 square kilometers, with a flow length of 10 kilometers. The average annual discharge is 0.03 m3 / s.
