Songshan town
Songshan Town, belonging to Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County and the south foot of Maomao mountain. It is adjacent to Zhenglu Township and Sitan township of Jingtai County in the southeast, Pingcheng Township and Qingshui township of Yongdeng County in the south, huazangsi town in the west, Duoshi Township and Xidatan Township in the north, and Xinbao township of Gulang County in the northeast. The administrative area is 711.37 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Songshan town was 15672.
Songshan town is named for the fact that there are many pine trees in Maoshan in the north of the town. It is called MIHA mountain in Tibetan, which means a place for meat. In Yuan Dynasty, Songshan town belonged to Zhuanglang County; in October 1985, it was Songshan and Qianbao township; in August 2002, Qianbao township was changed into a town; in October 2004, Songshan Township and Qianbao town were merged into Songshan town. As of June 2020, Songshan town has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Songshan town is located in agangwan village.

History of construction
In Yuan Dynasty, Songshan town belonged to Zhuanglang County.
In the Ming Dynasty, Zhuanglang County was changed into Zhuanglang Wei.
Qing Qianlong 18 years (1753), belong to Zhuanglang tea horse Tongzhi.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Pingfan county.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it belonged to Zhuanglang tea and Ma Lipan Tongzhi.
In 1928, it belonged to Yongdeng County.
In May 1950, it was under the jurisdiction of the first township of Tianzhu autonomous region.
In November 1952, it was divided into Songshan Township, Qianbao Township and Dalong township.
In July 1962, Songshan, Anshan, Huajian, Shitang commune and Songshan pasture belonged to Songshan District.
In October 1985, it was the hometown of Songshan and Qianbao.
In August 2002, Qianbao township was transformed into a town.
In October 2004, Songshan Township and Qianbao town merged into Songshan town.

hydrology
There are black horse circle River and Longtan River in Songshan Town, which are cut-off rivers. Most of the time they are dry. The river is about 24 kilometers long, belonging to the Zhuanglang river system of the Yellow River Basin.

The main natural disasters in Songshan town are drought, earthquake, snowstorm, low temperature, frost and flood. The most serious earthquake occurred at 16:07 on October 20, 1990, resulting in the collapse of most of the farmers' and herdsmen's houses and sheds in 12 villages of the town, with an economic loss of 25.972 million yuan.
