Toudao town

Toudao Town, belonging to Ji'an City, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Ji'an City, bordering Qinghe town in the East and south, Huadian town and Caiyuan town in the southwest, Hunjiang River in the West and northwest, Jiangdian town and kuaidamao town in Tonghua County across the river, and Jinchang town in Tonghua City in the north and northeast. It is 71 kilometers away from Ji'an City, with a total area of 331.02 square kilometers.

In the late Qing Dynasty, toudao town belonged to yongjubao, Tonghua County; in November 1984, toudao town was changed from toudao township to toudao town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in tou Dao was 24090. As of June 2020, toudao town has one community and 18 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in toudao village.

History of construction

In the late Qing Dynasty, it was yongjubao in Tonghua County. In 1902, it was assigned to Ji'an County.

In 1912, it belonged to Beiyi town. In 1923, it belonged to Weizi village, toudao, eight districts. In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it belonged to weizibao, the head of eight districts. In 1945, it was the residence of six districts.

In 1956, there were four townships, toudao Weizi, Wengquan, Weishahe and Yaoying, belonging to toudao district (six districts).

In March 1958, toudao Weizi, Wengquan and Weishahe were merged into toudao township; in September of the same year, toudao and Yaoying were merged into Taiyang commune; in December of the same year, they were renamed toudao commune.

In March 1961, toudao commune was divided into toudao commune and Yaoying commune.

March 1965, belongs to Ji'an County.

In March 1983, toudao commune was changed into toudao township.

In November 1984, toudao township was replaced by toudao township.

In April 1988, it belongs to Ji'an city.

In January 2000, Yaoying township was merged into toudao town.
