Ping'an Town, subordinate to Zhangwu County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Zhangwu County. It is bounded by Weitang River in the east by Shuangmiao Town, Raoyang River in the West and south by Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, and Fengtian Township and haltao town in the north and northwest. The administrative area of the town is 116.55 square kilometers.
In April 1962, Ping'an commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Ping'an township. In 2014, the township was replaced by township.
