Xiangyang Street
Xiangyang Street, belonging to Chuanying District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Chuanying District, at the south foot of Taoyuan mountain. It starts from Nanjing Street in the East, faces Jiefang Road in the south, reaches Hunchun street in the west, and ends at Taoyuan mountain in the north. It forms a rectangular settlement surrounded by mountains in the north and business district in the south. It is 2.3km away from Chuanying district government, with an area of 1.57km2.
In 1928, Xiangyang Street was divided into two districts and four districts. On April 1, 1979, the Revolutionary Committee of Xiangyang Street was changed into Xiangyang Street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Xiangyang Street was 35157. As of June 2020, Xiangyang Street has five communities under its jurisdiction, and the sub district office is located behind Taonan community water supply company.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xiangyang Street was 3.2546 million yuan, including 2.2162 million yuan of financial allocation; the total industrial output value was 370 million yuan, an increase of 10% over 2010; the total retail sales of social consumer goods was 750 million yuan, an increase of 15% over 2010.
History of construction
In 1928, it was divided into two districts and four districts. In August 1938, it was changed to bahumen and paotaishan Town, belonging to Tongtian Street office. In August 1941, it belonged to Fuxiang district and Zhongxing district.
On August 16, 1951, it belonged to Tongtian district office.
On January 15, 1954, it was the community of zhongxingtun street in the second district.
On April 19, 1955, zhongxingtun street was rebuilt.
December 19, 1958, for Changyi District Dadong Street (Branch).
On August 1, 1960, it was Zhongxing power management area of Dadongmen branch of Changyi commune.
In October 1962, it was Dadongmen street.
On January 18, 1964, Dadongmen street in Changyi district was classified as Chuanying district.
On March 16, 1968, Dadongmen street was changed into Dadong Street Revolutionary Committee.
On January 19, 1970, Xiangyang Street Revolutionary Committee was set up by Dadong Street Revolutionary Committee.
On April 1, 1979, the Revolutionary Committee of Xiangyang Street was changed into Xiangyang Street.

By the end of 2011, Xiangyang Street had jurisdiction over five communities, namely, South China, Tianbei, Taonan, Bei'an and Kunming, with 753 resident groups.
As of June 2020, Xiangyang Street has five communities under its jurisdiction: South China community, Bei'an community, Taonan community, Kunming community and Tianbei community. The sub district office is located behind Taonan community water supply company.
