Changshan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, 35 kilometers away from the people's Government of qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County; it borders maoduzhan town of Ningjiang district in the East, daliba Township in the southeast, chaganhu town in the South and southwest, balang town in the West and northwest, and Changshan fish fry in the north The breeding ground and KULI fishing ground are adjacent. In 1934, people began to live after the construction of Changbai railway; in October 2005, Xinmiao town was merged into Changshan town. By the end of 2018, Changshan had 43049 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Changshan town has 5 communities and 16 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Changshan town was 50.36 million yuan, including 2.64 million yuan of local revenue.
History of construction
In 1934, after the construction of the Changbai railway, people began to live there. In 1948, Xue, Chen and song families of the Han nationality came to Changshan to open up wasteland for farming, and later formed settlements.
In March 1980, Changshan town was established.
In 1988, Xinfeng township was abolished and 11 villages under its jurisdiction were assigned to Xinmiao town and Changshan town respectively.
In October 2005, Xinmiao town was merged into Changshan town.
