Chang'an Town
Chang'an Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tumen City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Tumen City, bordering Shixian town and Yueqing town in the East, Xiaoying town of Yanji City in the south, Yilan town of Yanji City in the West and baicaogou town of Wangqing County in the North, with an administrative area of 265.09 square kilometers.
In November 1984, Chang'an town was changed into a closed town. In 1988, it was assigned to Tumen City; in 2006, Bishui village of Yueqing town was assigned to Tumen City. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Changan town was 8690. As of June 2020, 1 community and 13 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Chang'an town.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Chang'an town was 6275 yuan. In 2018, there were seven industrial enterprises in Chang'an Town, including one above scale and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was a forbidden paddock.
In the early years of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, it was established as a village belonging to Zhiren society of Nangang Reclamation Bureau.
In 1913, it belonged to Weilan village, Zhiren Township, Yanji county.
In 1929, it belonged to Changshan, Pan'an, Aiwei and other townships in the first district.
In 1936, Changshan and Pan'an townships were merged into Chang'an village.
In November 1945, Chang'an District was changed.
In 1950, it was renamed District 1.
In March 1956, Mopan and Chang'an were set up.
In April 1958, the two townships were merged into Chang'an township.
In November 1958, Chang'an township was transformed into a commune.
In October 1983, Chang'an commune was transformed into a township.
In November 1984, Chang'an township was transformed into a town.
In 1988, it was assigned to Tumen City.
In 2006, Bishui village of Yueqing town was included.

As of June 2020, Chang'an town has one community and 13 administrative villages: Changxing community, Chang'an village, Hedong Village, Weizi village, Changshang village, Changqing village, Xingjia village, Longjia village, Fuyan village, Guangxing village, Guangji village, Mopan village, Changling village and Bishui village. The town people's government is stationed in Weizi village.
