Dajishan town

Dajishan town is located in the southernmost part of QUANNAN County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, adjacent to Lianping county and Wengyuan County, Guangdong Province. It is famous for its Dajishan Tungsten Mine, which is known as the "world tungsten capital". The total area of the town is 97.67 square kilometers, including 11893 mu of cultivated land and 103000 mu of mountainous area. It has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages, including wuzhiba, Pingtou Town, Dayue, Makeng, Ma'an, Xiaoxi, Tianbei and Xiexi, with 27000 people. The transportation is convenient. It is only 20 kilometers away from the county seat and 250 kilometers away from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is close to national highway 105 and Beijing Zhuhai Jiangxi Guangdong Expressway, and only 50 kilometers away from Beijing Kowloon Railway.
