Tieshan street is located in the southwest coast of Qingdao, 7.5km away from Huangdao District government. In 1189, zhangcang town was set up in jindading. It was Jiaozhou in Ming and Qing Dynasties and Jiaoxian in the Republic of China. In August 1945, the territory belonged to Tieshan district and Fengtai District of Zhujiao county. Since September 1946, it belongs to Jiaonan county. In March 1958, Tieshan was divided into two townships: zhangcang and Liuhe. In September 1958, the two townships merged to establish Tieshan commune. In March 1984, Tieshan commune was transformed into Tieshan township. In January 1995, Tieshan township was abolished and Tieshan town was established. On December 18, 2005, Tieshan sub district office was established instead of the town.

Zhangcang ancient town is one of the three Jinzhi Jiaoxi towns (zhangcang, Liangxiang and Chencun). Located 7.5km northwest of Jiaonan City and in the south of tieju mountain, it is close to Fenghe river. During the confrontation between Jin and Song Dynasty, the coastal area in the south of Shandong was an unstable area under the rule of Jin. In 1189, three towns of zhangcang, Liangxiang and Chencun were established in Jiaoxi county. The town set up supervisors to manage military and political affairs. During the Jin Dynasty, Banqiao Town (later Jiaoxi county) was set up to exchange market with Song Dynasty. Zhang Cang was also one of the debating fields at that time. "Zhang Cang, one of the three towns in Jiaoxi County, is in charge of the taxation of wine and salt in his area, while he is in charge of the business.". The origin of the name "Zhang Cang" should be related to the fact that there are wine and salt warehouses in the market. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Limin Township, called zhangcang society. It had a market and a preparatory warehouse. It was one of the township warehouses. In order to prevent Japanese pirates, the Ming Dynasty set up guard stations along the coast. Today, Tieshan sub district office is not near the sea, but its back is tieju mountain, which is the only way for Jiaoxian county to poli. In the Ming Dynasty, zhangcang town was a strategic place, which connected qianhusuo in Jiaozhou with qianhusuo in Xiahe village. Therefore, there was a pier and abutment here. Today, the former site of the pier and abutment is on the highway to the west of the former Tieshan government hall. Once the coastal defense is lost, it can be the second line of defense with the southwest jijiadian pier. Tieju mountain is steep and straight, its cliffs stand abruptly, and its rocks are as black as iron, hence its name. The mountain ranges run from northeast to southwest, stretching 14 kilometers from north to south, across 16 townships such as Tieshan, Liuwang, zhangjialou, Baoshan, Dacun and southern Tibet.
