Zhongsha Township belongs to Ninghua County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It is located in the north of Ninghua county and has convenient transportation. Historical evolution
Zhongsha commune was established in 1958 and changed to township in 1984. In 1997, it governed 13 village committees and Zhongsha neighborhood committees, including Zhongsha, Shuangyuan, Zhangrong, Loujia, Shimen, Wuchang, Gaoping, Yefang, Xiasha, Hewu, Banxi and lianshe.

The township belongs to the middle subtropical mountain climate, with mild climate. It is located in the hilly area of Wuyi Mountains. History and Humanities
All the townships are descendants of Hakka. In ancient times, it was said that Hesha was once named Jinsha because of its gold content. The local style is simple and enthusiastic. In history, there were 1 Tanhua, 8 Jinshi, 12 Juren and 20 Gongsheng. Wuchang village still has a good preserved stone road and two stone horse bolts built in Tang Dynasty. It is the hometown of the old revolutionary base. During the second Civil Revolutionary War, more than 500 people joined the army and took part in the war There are 151 martyrs in the book.

Since the reform and opening up, the economic and social undertakings of Zhongsha township have been greatly developed. In 2006, the total social output value of the township was 138 million yuan, including 65 million yuan of rural industrial output value and 73.58 million yuan of agricultural output value.

There is a medium-sized reservoir in the upstream. There are six existing hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of 3000 kW. In addition, the survey and planning of gouweikeng hydropower station with an installed capacity of 500 kW has been completed. The total investment of the project is about 6.2 million yuan.
