Heping Township, belonging to Faku County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Faku County, adjacent to Tongjiangkou Town, Changtu County, Tieling City, across the Liaohe River in the East, Baijiagou town in the south, Mengjia town in the west, Wafang village and Xiaotazi village, haoguantun Town, Kangping County in the north, with an administrative area of 73 square kilometers.
In the spring and Autumn period, Heping Township belonged to Donghu; in 1984, it was changed to Heping township. By the end of 2018, 10469 households registered residence in Heping township. As of June 2020, Heping township has jurisdiction over six administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Heping Village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Heping township was 18 million yuan, an increase of 43% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 15 million yuan, an increase of 41% over the previous year. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Heping Township, including one above scale and 28 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
