Zhongxing Street was originally under the jurisdiction of Xinqiu District, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province.

In November 2019, Fuxin Municipal government adjusted the administrative divisions of the whole city, abolished Xinglong Street and Zhongxing Street in Xinqiu District, and merged them into jieji street.

Zhongxing Street, formerly under the jurisdiction of Xinqiu District, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, has three communities with a population of 11859 (2010).

In November 2019, in accordance with the requirements of provincial and municipal institutional reform and administrative division adjustment, Xinqiu District completed the street administrative division adjustment, integrating the original Xinglong Street and Zhongxing Street, and named the new street as jieji street.
