Fuxing town

Fuxing town is located in the Anning River Valley in the middle of Mianning County, Sichuan Province, with a total area of 60.47 square kilometers. The town government is located at an altitude of 1697 meters, 16 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, including Jianshe, Hongxing, Mingchun, Shuicheng, Xiangshi, Huaguo, Guoyuan, Baitu and Zhongxin, with a total of 60 village groups, mainly including Han, Yi and Tibetan Nationalities. It mainly produces rice, barley, corn and rapeseed. The main cash crops are flue-cured tobacco, sericulture, cherry, nectarine, plum and so on. The fruit yield ranks first in the county. Fuxing cherry is famous for its big, fresh color and sweet taste, and is sold far away in and outside the province. There are 4296 agricultural households and 18722 people, including 17752 Han people. The cultivated area is 14973 mu.

On December 13, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Xichang City (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 18): linli township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Fuxing Town, and the people's Government of Fuxing town was stationed at No. 66, Hengjie.

Fuxing Town, known as the first market in Mianning, is the trading center of agricultural by-products of four townships and one town in Julong District, involving more than 70000 people. Among them, the annual yield of cherry is 1051 tons, which is famous for its big, fresh color and sweet taste. It is exported to Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming and other places. County Road Mian (ning) Xian (Feng) highway runs through the whole territory. There are five county-level schools, including health centers, power supply (transformation) stations, post offices, telecommunications bureaus, cocoon stations, forestry stations, local taxation offices, industrial and commercial offices, credit cooperatives, supply and marketing cooperatives, police stations and other administrative and enterprise institutions; among them, the county-level Hongxing power station has an installed capacity of 3750 kW; and there is a large livestock trading market.

The Jindongzi power station with an installed capacity of 32000 kW in Fuxing town covers an area of 1000 square meters. There is a rare earth deep processing enterprise in Fangxing. The fruit base is rich in cherries and peaches. There is a rare earth concentrated industrial park covering an area of more than 300 mu. The communication facilities in the town are good and there is no communication dead space. The optical fiber network covers the whole town.

Characteristic industry

Fuxing town is known as "Shili cherry corridor". The town has a fruit area of 7600 mu, with an output of 1.6 million Jin and an output value of 5.4 million yuan. Among them, the area of cherry is 4800 Mu and the yield is 1.4 million kg. Fuxing cherry is famous for its bright red skin, tender and smooth flesh, sweet and juicy, and delicious taste. It is exported to Xichang, Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Panzhihua and other places with an annual output value of 4.2 million yuan.
