Shuangsheng town

Shuangsheng Town, belonging to Keerqin left-wing rear banner of Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Keerqin left-wing rear banner. It is adjacent to Shuangliao City of Jilin Province by pingyiqi railway line in the East, Changtu County of Tieling City of Liaoning Province by East Liaohe River in the south, zarisu town in the West and Jinbaotun town in the north. The area is 219.19 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Shuang Sheng town was 38176.

In 1956, the township was established. In 1958, the three townships of pinganbao, Shuangsheng and Dongwujiazi merged to form Pingan commune. In 1984, it was changed into Shuangsheng township. In May 2006, it merged with Xiangyang Township to establish Shuangsheng town. As of June 2020, Shuangsheng town has 24 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, Shuangsheng town had 2 industrial enterprises and 87 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
