Wujia Town
Wujia Town, belonging to Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Yuanbaoshan District, adjacent to Pingzhuang town in the East, Kalaqin banner in the southeast and North, and West open street in the northeast. The area is 44.23 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 18912 people registered residence.
In October 1963, five communes were rebuilt. In December 1983, five communes were assigned to Yuanbaoshan District from Chifeng City, and merged with wangganchi and qiaojiawopu, which were assigned to Kalaqin banner, to form five hometowns. In November 1984, the township was replaced by a town. As of June 2020, Wujia Town has one community and five administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in five towns and 19 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In October 1956, five hometowns were built.
In October 1957, it was incorporated into Kalaqin banner.
In September 1958, it was transferred to Pingzhuang commune of Chifeng City.
In October 1963, five communes were rebuilt.
In July 1964, wangganchi, qiaojiawopu and changshengyuan were assigned to Kalaqin banner.
In December 1983, five communes were assigned to Yuanbaoshan District from Chifeng City, and merged with wangganchi and qiaojiawopu, which were assigned to Kalaqin banner, to form five hometowns.
In November 1984, the township was replaced by a town.

By the end of 2011, Wujia Town had five residents' committees, five villagers' committees including Wujia, Fangshen, beitaizi, Jinqiao and wangganchi, nine residents' groups and 49 villagers' groups.
As of June 2020, Wujia Town has one community and five administrative villages: Wujia community, Jinqiao village, Fangshen village, Wujia village, beitaizi village and wangganchi village. The people's Government of Wujia Town is located in beitaizi village.

Wujia Town River belongs to nanmagaihe River Basin, which is a tributary of Laoha river system. It flows from Jinqiao village to wangganchi village and flows from west to East. The length of the territory is 13.8 kilometers, and the drainage area is 7 square kilometers.
natural disaster
The main natural disasters in Wujia Town are drought, hail and frost, which occur once every two years. According to the statistics from 1960 to 1990, there were 16 Spring Droughts, 15 summer droughts and 17 autumn droughts. In 1981, there was no rain throughout the year, and the grain output of the whole town was reduced by 3450 tons. On the afternoon of June 4, 1997, 22 villagers' groups in two villages were hit by hail, and 10000 mu of crops were damaged. On the afternoon of July 4, 1998, the rainstorm caused 21 villagers' houses to be flooded and 6 houses to collapse, resulting in a direct economic loss of 60000 yuan.
