Baishiyi town
Baishiyi Town, subordinate to Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Jiulongpo District, adjacent to Huayan Town and Geleshan town of Shapingba District in the East, Shiban town and bafu town in the south, Jinfeng town and zouma town in the west, and Hangu town in the north. It is about 20 kilometers away from the people's Government of Jiulongpo District, with a total area of 51.95 square kilometers.
In Ming Dynasty, Baishiyi town was called BaiShiLi; in August 1980, Baishiyi town was changed into Baishiyi town. By the end of 2019, the population of Baishi Yi town registered residence was about 50 thousand, with a permanent population of 100 thousand. As of June 2020, Baishiyi town has 4 communities and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The people's Government of Baishiyi town is located at No. 90, Yizheng street, Baishiyi.
In 2018, there were 257 industrial enterprises in Baishiyi Town, of which 55 were large-scale and 20 were comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it was BaiShiLi.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Baishiyi town was set up.
In 1935, it was renamed Baishi Lianbao. In 1940, it was renamed Baishi town.
In January 1952, Meile township was built in some of the towns of paibaishi and Shiban; in December of the same year, Songling Township and Huangjin Township were built in some of the towns of paibaishi.
In January 1956, Huangjin Township and Songling Township merged into jianbaishi Township, and at the same time, jiemeile township was divided into Baishi Township and Shiban township.
In November 1956, Huangjin Township and Songling Township were reset.
In September 1958, Baishi town merged with Huangjin Township and Songling township to establish Baishi commune.
In February 1959, Baishi commune was withdrawn and Baishi, Huangjin and Songling administrative areas were divided. In May of the same year, Baishi town was restored.
In August 1980, Baishi town was changed into Baishiyi town.
In January 1987, Huangjin township was merged into Baishiyi town.
In December 1993, Songling township was merged into Baishiyi town.
In March 1995, it was transferred from Banan District to Jiulongpo District.

By the end of 2011, Baishiyi town had jurisdiction over the first and second communities of Baishiyi Town, including 11 administrative villages including Mujia, Xindian, taici, Hailong, gaotiankan, Gaofeng temple, Qinghe, sanduoqiao, Dahe, Zhenwu and Jiuli, and 22 resident groups and 188 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Baishiyi town has 4 communities and 11 administrative villages: Golden community, Yizhan community, Yidu community, Songling community, taici village, Mujia village, Xindian Village, Hailong village, Jiuli village, sanduoqiao village, Zhenwu village, gaofengsi village, gaotiankan village, Dahe village and Qinghe Village. hydrology
Liangtan River in Baishiyi town belongs to Jialing River water system, a secondary tributary of the North Bank of the Yangtze River. It originates from dahegou reservoir and liaojiagou reservoir in Baishiyi town and flows into Jialing River from south to north, with a length of 9.5 km. In gaotiankan village and gaofengsi village, water flows southward into Changjiang river through Shiban town and Tongguanyi town.
