Heping Town
Heping Town, subordinate to Wudalianchi City, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Wudalianchi City, adjacent to Jianshe Township and Xinfa Township in the East, Huashan farm in the south, Taiping Township in the West and Tuanjie Township across the river in the north. It is 18 kilometers away from Wudalianchi City, with a total administrative area of 202.8 square kilometers.
In 1914, Heping Town belonged to the Fourth District of Nehe County; in March 2011, Changchun township was merged into Heping Town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in peace town was 21499. In 2019, Heping Town governs one community, nine administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Jiefang village.
In 2018, Heping Town has 3 industrial enterprises and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it was called No. 16 village, belonging to the Fourth District of Nehe county. In 1915, it was the third district of Keshan County. In 1929, it was assigned to the third district of the Administration Bureau of the capital of Germany. In December of 1933, the administrative bureau of dedu was upgraded to county and the western district was established. In March 1938, it was changed to Xihe village. In March 1946, it was changed to Xihe District.
In June 1949, it was renamed the fourth district.
In March 1956, the four districts were divided into three townships: Heping, Siping and Taiping.
In September 1958, the peace commune was established.
In 1959, it was incorporated into Qingshan commune, known as the peace management zone.
In April 1961, Heping and Siping administrative areas were merged into Heping commune.
In September 1966, it was divided into Heping commune and Siping commune.
In 1983, Heping commune was transformed into Heping township.
In May 1985, Heping township was transformed into Heping Town.
In March 2001, Siping Township was merged into Heping Town.
In March 2011, Changchun township was merged into Heping Town.
