Fengzhou town

Fengzhou town is located in the east of Nan'an City, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, on the North Bank of the middle and lower reaches of Jinjiang River. It is the old county seat of Nan'an County, 16 kilometers away from the urban area, and adjacent to Fengze District, Quanzhou City. It covers an area of 56 square kilometers and has a population of more than 48000. It has 13 administrative villages including Fengzhou village, Xihua village, Putou village, Liaoyuan village, Huanshan village, Taoyuan Village, Houtian village, Xushan village, Puding village, Suya village, Xifeng village, Shuangxi village, Yuhu village and one community in Fengzhou community. The town government is located in Yanshan.

Fengzhou town is located in the east of Nan'an City, adjacent to Fengze District of Quanzhou City. It covers an area of 56 square kilometers and has a population of more than 48000.

It belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate. It is humid and rainy all the year round, and it is more cold than cold. The main stream is the lower reaches of Jinjiang River. The main peaks are Kuishan in the north, Qilin mountain and Wushan in the south, with an altitude of less than 400 meters.

The main mineral resources are granite, of which the stone is fine and white, known as "Quanzhou white".

In 2019, the industrial and commercial tax revenue will be 139 million yuan, the industrial output value above designated scale will be 1.631 billion yuan, and the retail sales above designated scale will be 21.62 million yuan. Development history

Fengzhou has a history of more than 1700 years since it was established as the first Dongan County in Southern Fujian in the third year of Dongwu Yong'an (260 A.D.) of the Three Kingdoms. It has a rich cultural heritage and a large number of talents. For example, in the southern and Northern Dynasties, the Indian monk jaynaratuo came to Yanfu temple in jiuri mountain to translate scriptures, the Prime Minister Jiang Gongfu of the Tang Dynasty and the famous scholar Qin family lived in jiuri mountain for many years, and dalazhen, the ancestor of Huang's Yanshan in Southern Fujian in the late Song and early Yuan Dynasties Huang Yiping, a patriotic overseas Chinese who founded Huaqiao middle school in modern times.

The local residents are mainly Han nationality, mainly with surnames of Fu, Huang, Wang, Chen, Lin, Li and Yan.

Historical evolution

In the third year of Yong'an (260 A.D.), Dongan County was first established in Southern Fujian.

"Fengzhou is also a beautiful and fertile state." In 568, the first year of Chen Guangda in the Southern Dynasty, Jin'an county was promoted to Fengzhou, and its administrative office was located in Fuzhou. Tang Wude five years (622), in the old Nan'an county to set up Fengzhou, under the jurisdiction of Putian, Nan'an and Youxi three counties.

During the period of the Republic of China, most of the houses were Han style big houses with civil structure and brick stone wood structure, which had the characteristics of ancient county. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the traditional style of housing construction has been retained, and reinforced concrete buildings have been added. At the end of the 1980s, the per capita housing in the town was 12 square meters.

From 1950 to 1988, four middle schools including Huaqiao middle school and Hongxing middle school were built and 38 primary schools were expanded. In 2019, Fengzhou town will achieve a total agricultural output value of 115 million yuan and a per capita net income of 19700 yuan. We have built 30 hectares of high standard farmland and 43.3 hectares of pollution-free vegetable bases, cultivated 1 provincial standardized seedling breeding base, 5 agricultural standardized production enterprises, and created 6 high-quality agricultural product standardization demonstration bases. Lvsen family farm has been selected as the second batch of provincial demonstration farms in 2019. 153 new professional farmers were certified.

Fengzhou town was awarded "China Taobao town", and Suya village, Taoyuan Village and Xifeng village were awarded "China Taobao village".

We will complete the reform of the rural collective property rights system and the special rectification of the rural collective "three capital" (capital, assets, resources) supervision, and realize the full coverage of all villages by rural joint-stock economic cooperatives. More than 1 million yuan was invested to complete the construction of five "one case, one discussion" projects.

In 2019, Fengzhou town was awarded 2 national high-tech enterprises, 4 provincial high-tech enterprises, 2 leading enterprises of small scientific and technological giants in Fujian Province, and 3 small and medium-sized scientific and technological enterprises in Fujian Province. 53 invention patents, 52 utility model patents and 101 design patents were approved.
