Sanquan town

Sanquan town is located 9 kilometers north of Xinjiang county in Shanxi Province, southwest of Jiuyuan mountain, adjacent to Longxing town in the East, Beizhang town in the north, Zezhang town in the west, Quanzhang town in the West and Gujiao town in the south. It is also a rare plain town in Xinjiang county, with only a few gullies and slopes in jidui village. The land area is 74.66 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 70099 mu. In 2007, the total output of wheat is 10781 tons, and the total output of autumn grain is 20463 tons. It governs 30 administrative regions and has a permanent resident population of 42387 (in 2017).

Sanquan township was set up in March 1956 and stationed in Sanquan village. Sanquan people's commune was set up in January 1962 and renamed Sanquan town in September 1984. In May 2002, the township division was changed, and Sanquan town was merged with Nanshe Town, which was still called Sanquan town. Sanquan town is located in the north central part of Xinjiang county, at the foot of Jiuyuan mountain, on the Bank of Gushui River, 10 kilometers northwest of the county. In the spring and Autumn period, it was originally named Xiongzhen, but later changed its name to Sanquan town because there were three springs in the northeast of the village: Qingquan, hunquan and Lianhua springs. Xiangyan is called Sanquan for short. The town is 15 kilometers long from east to west and 8.5 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 74.66 square kilometers. By the end of 2009, there were 40028 people and 9058 households in the town, with a cultivated area of 70669 mu, including 65602 mu of irrigated land. At the end of 2011, there were 41333 people and 9578 households in the town. In April 2001, the township was merged. Sanquan town and Nanshe Township were merged into Sanquan town. Forestry construction

Focusing on Gushui River Basin, the project of enriching people with fast-growing poplar was implemented in an all-round way, and 100000 trees were developed in Xi village and Beili village. Highway, Xinxiang Road and Linxia county are the main roads for road greening, with 200000 seedlings planted.
