Longxing
Longxing town is under the jurisdiction of Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. Longxing Town, located in the west of Longjiang County, is a semi mountainous area. It is adjacent to Nianzi mountain area in the East, 15 kilometers away from Binzhou railway line; it is adjacent to five towns around Zhalantun city in Inner Mongolia in the west, 40 miles away from national first-class national highway; it is adjacent to Shanquan town and jiqinhe Township in the south. The total administrative area is 625.33 square kilometers. Longxing town is a merged Town, which is formed by the merging of the original yaluhe Township and Longxing town. Longxing Town, formerly known as "Li San Dian". In March 1956, it was renamed Longxing town as "the prosperous place of Longjiang". By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Longxing town was 48989.

Historical evolution
In 1905, it belonged to Heishui hall. In the 14th year of Guangxu reign, it belonged to Longjiang mansion.
1913. It belongs to Longjiang County and is called lishandian. In 1917, mushroom gas Reclamation Bureau moved to lishandian.
In 1929, five district offices were set up, belonging to Yalu county. In April 1933, it was transferred to Jingxing county. In 1940, it was changed to lishandian village.
In 1946, it was changed to lishandian District, belonging to Longjiang County. In 1956, for culture, lihuawan longgou township.
In 1958, it was merged into Longxing commune. In 1986, Longxing town was changed. In September 2002, yaluhe township was incorporated into the city.

Longxing town is located in the northwest of Longjiang County, bordering Zishan District in the East, jiqinhe Township and Shanquan town in the south, and Xinlin town in zate banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the West and northwest.

Name and origin
Longxing Town, formerly known as lishandian, was named after lishandian, a native of Shandong Province, who opened a local hotel around 1900. In 1956, it was renamed Longxing, meaning the prosperity of Longjiang.
