Pengta Township
Pengta Township
It is a township under the jurisdiction of Kangding City, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located in the northeast of the city, 80 kilometers away from the urban area. With an area of 699 square kilometers and a population of 2838 (2017), the forest area is accessible by road.
Historical evolution
In 1952, it set up pengta township; in 1966, it changed to Jihong commune; in 1975, it changed its name to pengta commune; and in 1984, it returned to the township.
administrative division
It has jurisdiction over Xinxing SHANGXIA village, MuWa village, Yanglin village, Sanjiazhai village, pengta village, Heping Village, Tuanjie village, Jiefang village 1 and 2, Tonglin village and Lianghekou village committee.
economic development
The main agricultural products in pengta township are corn, potato and soybean. Apple, pepper, walnut. Minerals include lead, crystal, iron, copper, gold and asbestos.
