Chaoyang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling County, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Changtu County, Southeast of Bamian Town, Maojiadian town in the East, Houlu town and Sihe town in the south, Dawa town and Bamiancheng town in the West and northwest, Ping'an town and Laosiping town in the north and northeast, with an administrative area of 107 square meters.
In 1956, Chaoyang village, Sanjiazi Village and Guangwen village were merged into Chaoyang township; in March 1997, Chaoyang town was changed. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Chaoyang town was 21266. As of June 2020, Chaoyang town has 12 administrative villages.

History of construction
In 1956, Chaoyang, Sanjiazi and Guangwen were merged into Chaoyang township.
In September 1958, Chaoyang commune was changed into Chaoyang commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into Chaoyang township.
