Xihe Township

Xihe township is a township administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located in the heart of Anning River Valley, it borders Xihe township of Xide County in the East, Xiaomiao Township and Taihe Township in the south, Anning River Basin in the West and Anning town in the north. National Highway 108 and airport road respectively run through my village for about 3 kilometers. The township has 4580 households with a total population of 17261, covering an area of 28.1 square kilometers and 16300 mu of arable land.

In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish Xihe Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Beishan Township, which is located at No. 60, group 1, Rimo village.

There are 9 administrative villages and 74 groups in the township. Huahua Avenue (cement road) is the central trunk road of the township, with a total length of 4.1km. Every village has roads and telephones. 2100 households have installed telephones, accounting for 46% of the total number of households. Xihe township is rich in water resources, which can discharge and irrigate. In the township, there are 301 factories covering an area of 500 mu, fresh cut flower bases covering an area of 500 mu, 5 township enterprises, 1 market and 1 health center. Each village has 28 medical centers, 2 middle schools and 8 primary schools.

Xixiang has a pleasant climate in four seasons, large temperature difference between day and night, sufficient sunshine, abundant rain and long sunshine, which is suitable for the growth of various crops. Anning River dam has an inexhaustible supply of sand and stone resources. There are 16300 mu of land resources available for development. There are 4000 surplus labor forces and 5 farmhouses.
