Shipu
Shipu town is located in the middle of Zhejiang coast and the southern end of Xiangshan Peninsula, with Xinqiao Town and dingtang town in the north, Sanmenwan town in the west, Hepu town and Gaotang town across the harbor in the south, damuyang and maotouyang in the East, so it is known as the "important town of middle Zhejiang Ocean Road".
Shipu town is a famous historical and cultural town in China, one of the six central fishing ports in China, a class II national open port, a pilot town for comprehensive reform of small towns in Zhejiang Province, the first batch of pilot towns for cultivation of small cities, and the first batch of pilot towns for construction of satellite cities in Ningbo City.
As of 2017, the town area of Shipu town is 126.1 square kilometers, and the built-up area of the central urban area is 7.5 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 8 communities and 54 administrative villages, with a total resident population of 100802 (in 2017), a fishery population of 24000, and a population of more than 100000 radiating from five surrounding towns and townships.
In July 2020, Shipu town was confirmed as a national health Township in 2019 by the National Patriotic Health Association.
Historical evolution
Shipu has a long history. It was first built in a time without reference. Because the ancestors settled in the valley at the foot of Dajin mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides, it got its name from "the place where the stream flows into the sea, and the rocks press into the sea".
Shipu was a territory of Yin county before the Tang Dynasty; the book of Han geography has already covered the ancestors' farming, herding and fishing in this area.
Tang Shenlong two years (706), Xiangshan County, Shipu is the village.
Dongmen Village was changed in Song Dynasty, belonging to houmenbao of Guiren Township, and Dongmen inspection department was set up in Yuan Dynasty; in Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Sandu of Guiren township.
In the second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1369), it set up the inspection department of Shipu and attached to the inspection department of dongmenzhai.
Ming Hongwu 20 years (1387), move changguowei in Dongmen mountain. Shipu inspector moved to Qingshantou, transferred the former and latter two schools of Changguo to Shipu, built the city, "the city faces the sea in the southeast and the mountain in the northwest, two Zhang high, six Zhang wide, one hundred and seven Zhang wide on Saturday, and opened up three gates in the west, South and North". It is the right wing of Anti Japanese in eastern Zhejiang, and is known as "an important town of Zhejiang".
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Shipu General Zhang Mingzhen established the anti Qing base in Shipu. Later, Zhang cangshui also used it as the anti Qing base until he was arrested.
In 1661, in order to strangle the anti Qing forces, the coastal residents were forced to move in. Shipu city was destroyed, and now there are more than 700 meters of city walls.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Changshi town and Diannan Township were assigned to Nantian county. The county government was moved to Shipu, and Xiangshan County remained in the next autumn.
In 1932, four towns, Donglai, Nanxun, Xicheng and Beiping, were built in Shipu. In 23, they were merged into Donglai and Jinshan towns, and the next year they were merged into Shipu town.
In April 1941, the Japanese occupied Shipu for nearly five years.
In July 1949, Shipu was liberated and became the resident of the District Office of Shipu district.
In 1953, it was approved as a county town by Zhejiang Province. Later, it was renamed people's commune, and it was renamed town again in 1961.
In 1984, fantou township was incorporated.
In 1992, Shipu district was withdrawn to expand the town, and Jinxing, Dongmen and tantoushan townships were merged.
In 2002, Changguo town was merged into Shipu town.

Shipu town is a subtropical marine monsoon climate, warm and humid, four distinct seasons, sufficient sunshine, abundant rainfall, long winter and summer, short spring and autumn. The annual average temperature is 16.2 ℃; the annual average rainfall is 1393 mm. The rainfall in the four seasons of the year is mainly concentrated in two rainy periods, namely, the Meiyu period from April to July and the typhoon period from July to October; the average wind speed along the coast is 5.6 M / S (grade 4), the northerly wind prevails in winter, the southerly wind prevails in summer, and the monsoon direction is changeable in spring and autumn. Jinshi river diversion was opened in 1983 to divert water from datanggang to Shipu port. There are four main rivers in the town: the main stream of Jinshi river is 11km long; the main stream of Jiming river is 4.75km long; the main stream of Changtang river is 6km long; the main stream of Tantang river is 1.75km long. There are two types of groundwater in Shipu Town, namely fissure water and pore phreatic water. The fissure water is distributed in the surrounding mountainous areas, and the recharge source is atmospheric precipitation; the pore water is mainly distributed in the plain areas, with high fluorine content, and the recharge source is mainly atmospheric precipitation, followed by fissure water.
