Xiping town
Xiping Town, a Gangu town in Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the Weibei arid mountainous area in the northeast of Gangu county. It connects with Jinshan Town in the South and connects with the eight Li Wan Town in the West. It is adjacent to the big town in the northwest and the northeast area is located in 1000 households town in Qinan county. Xiping town is located in the arid mountainous area of Weibei in the northeast of Gangu County. It is connected with Jinshan Town in the south, Baliwan town in the west, Dazhuang town in the northwest and Qianhu town in Qin'an County in the northeast, covering an area of 103.2 square kilometers.

Xiping town is located in the east end of the central anticline of Qilian Mountain trough. The exposed Precambrian strata include the Sinian system in the west of Lixin and the upper reaches of xixiaohe. The terrain inclines from northwest to Southeast, and the terrain is gully mountain. The main mountains are Panlong mountain and Heishan mountain. Gaomiao mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is located in the Northwest with an altitude of 1972 meters; xialaiwan, the lowest point, is located in the southeast with an altitude of 1550 meters.
