Zhangcun Township
Zhangcun township is located 15 kilometers southwest of Qinshui County, adjacent to Longgang Town in the north, Qinchi town and Ciying town in Yangcheng County in the East and south, and tuwo Township in the southwest. The total area is 79.19 square kilometers. The township governs 8 administrative villages, 35 villager groups and 55 natural villages. The eight administrative villages are Baotou village, Banqiao Village, YAOGOU village, Zhanghe village, Fengcun village, Lupo village, Hujiagou village, Zhangcun village and Fengcun village. The cultivated land area of the township is 18826 mu. The resident population was 3708 (2017). The pillar industry of the township is sericulture. There are 390000 mulberry trees on the ridge and the mulberry garden covers an area of 6060 mu.
The whole township is dominated by temperate continental semi-arid and semi humid climate, the surface is mainly mountainous, and the frost free period is as long as 180 days. It mainly grows wheat, corn, millet, beans, oil and other crops, and the economic forests are mainly apple, walnut, persimmon and Zanthoxylum.

History of construction
Zhangcun township is located in the southwest of the county, 16 kilometers away from the county. In the early days of the founding of new China, it belonged to the Second District Office of Qinshui County, which was changed many times later. Zhangcun township was established in 1956, merged into tuwo people's commune in 1958, separated and established in 1959, and changed to Zhangcun Township in May 1984. The township government is located in Zhangcun village, which originally governs 10 administrative villages. In 2002, it merged village groups. Shanggou village was merged into Fengcun village, Hanyu village into Baotou village. Now it governs 8 administrative villages, including Baotou, Banqiao, Zhanghe, YAOGOU, Zhangcun, Lupo, Fengcun and Hujiagou, including 55 natural villages and 35 villager groups.

Zhangcun township has mild climate, fertile land and convenient transportation. The annual average temperature is 10.7 ℃, the annual precipitation is 670.9 mm, and the frost free period is 196 days. The forest area is 2923 hectares, and there are abundant coal and iron resources underground. Local millet is famous for its large grain, yellow color and fragrant taste. The reed river originates here.

In 2011, there were more than 400000 mulberry trees on the ridge, and the mulberry garden area was 6260 mu, including 3600 mu of high-quality contiguous mulberry garden and 1.35 mu of mulberry garden per capita. The total sericulture income of the township is more than 6.79 million yuan, and the per capita cocoon income accounts for more than 32% of the per capita net income. Animal husbandry is a traditional pillar industry of Zhangcun township for a long time. In 2011, there were 6 breeding parks in Zhangcun Township, with more than 5400 livestock on hand. Walnut is the main economic forest industry. In 2011, there were 3200 mu of walnut trees in the township, of which 2000 mu were concentrated.
