Hongqi Manchu Town, belonging to Bayuquan District, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the Middle East of Bayuquan District, adjacent to Shuangtai town and chentun town of Gaizhou city in the East, Xiongyue town in the South and Lutun town in the north, with an administrative area of 36.44 square kilometers.

Hongqi Manchu town originally belonged to Gaizhou city; on December 10, 1995, Hongqi Manchu Township was built from township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Hongqi Manchu town was 28965. As of June 2020, Hongqi Manchu town has 5 communities and 12 administrative villages.

History of construction

Red flag Manchu town was originally a city of Gaizhou.

During the period of the puppet Manchukuo, each village in the town belonged to Xianghuangqi and hongqibao.

In the winter of 1945, GAIPING county was liberated and assigned to Lutun district.

In 1946, the Kuomintang moved in and restored the Japanese puppet division.

In 1947, Hongqi Town was re assigned to Lutun district.

In June 1958, Zhenglanqi township was established, with six villages under it. Later, it was changed into Hongqi commune.

In May 1968, the Revolutionary Committee was established.

In September 1983, the commune was withdrawn and Hongqi township was built.

In June 1984, the red banner Manchu Township was established.

On December 10, 1995, the red flag Manchu Township was withdrawn from the township and built into a town.

At the end of 2011, Hongqi Manchu town had 12 administrative villages: hongqibao, mantoushan, Longhua, Shengtai, wentun, donglanqi, xilanqi, Daying, donglengshui, jinlengshui, songtun and Jintun.

As of June 2020, Hongqi Manchu town has 5 communities and 12 administrative villages: Hongxing community, songtun community, Lanqi community, Jinshui community, Longshui community, xilanqi village, Daying village, donglengshui village, jinlengshui village, songtun village, Jintun village, donglanqi village, wentun village, Shengtai village, Longhua village, mantoushan village and hongqibao village. The town people's government is stationed in hongqibao village.
