Guild town
Gonghui Town, belonging to Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Zhangbei County. It is adjacent to erquanjing Township in the East, mantouying Township in the southeast, Hailiutu Township in the southwest, Angulinao Township in the west, daxiwan Township in the northwest and Tuchengzi Township in Kangbao County in the North. It is 27 kilometers away from Zhangbei County People's government, with a total area of 259.59 square kilometers.
In 1901, it was the grazing land of zhenghuang banner in Mongolia, named "salahu cave"; in March 1984, it was changed from Hongxing commune to Gonghui town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 15946. As of June 2020, Gonghui town has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Gonghui village.
In 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises in Gonghui Town, including 2 large-scale enterprises and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1901, it was a grazing land in zhenghuang banner of Mongolia, named salahu cave, which means a land of abundant water and grass in Manchu.
In June 1953, a guild town was established.
In 1958, the guild town was changed into red star commune.
In March 1984, red star commune was changed into guild town.

At the end of 2011, Gonghui town had 20 administrative villages including Gonghui, shitounao, yangshiwu, panchengfang, nankoufang, Datla, guohuliang, naohaiying, Liangjia, cheqiao, Xinyi, Fugong, xuqingfang, caojiaying, Dakao, Donghao, luohuaying, Dongbula, shuangnaobao and chaijiaying, and 45 natural villages.

There are two rivers in Gonghui Town, among which Heishui river flows from majiaying village to Angulinao from east to west, with a length of about 35 km and an area of 0.24 square km.

The main natural disasters in Gonghui town are drought, frost, sandstorm and so on. Drought occurred twice a year, mainly from March to September. The most serious one occurred in 2009, resulting in economic loss of 48 million yuan. Wind disasters occur all the year round. The most serious one occurred on July 26, 2010. A tornado occurred in Pancheng house, causing an economic loss of 46.184 million yuan.
