Duanjiabao Township, belonging to Xiahuayuan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Xiahuayuan District, adjacent to Huailai County in the East and south, dingfangshui Township in the West and North, and pangjiabao town in Xuanhua District in the north. It is 6 kilometers away from Xiahuayuan district government, with a total area of 64.2 square kilometers.
In 1943, it was divided into Xiahuayuan district; in 1984, it was changed from duanjiapu commune to duanjiapu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of dujiabao township was 2188. As of June 2020, duanjiapu village has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in duanjiapu village.
In 2018, duanjiapu township has an industrial enterprise and a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1943, it was assigned to Xiahuayuan district. In September 1945, it was transferred to Xuanhua county.
In 1953, there were two townships, duanjiapu and Guanyintang.
In 1956, it was merged into duanjiapu township.
In 1958, it belonged to dingfangshui commune.
On January 29, 1959, it was put under the jurisdiction of Xiahuayuan district.
In June 1961, it returned to Xuanhua County; in the same year, it separated from dingfangshui commune and established duanjiapu commune.
In 1984, duanjiapu commune was changed into duanjiapu township.
In February 1990, Duanjiabao township was put under the jurisdiction of Xiahuayuan district.
