Dock town, belonging to Zouping City, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwest of Zouping City, adjacent to Taizi and Weiqiao towns in the East, adjacent to Zhangqiu City in Jinan City in the South and West, and facing the Yellow River and Jiyang County in Jinan City across the river in the north. The area is 114.09 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Wharf town was 52074.

In 1978, the wharf commune was established. In 1984, the commune was abolished and dock township was established. In April 2002, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, the town has 78 administrative villages.
