Dayang Township, Tang County Township, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Tang county. It is adjacent to beidiantou Township and Baihe Town in the East, hailishui Township in the south, Luozhuang town in the West and Xidayang reservoir in the west, and mincheng town and Baihe Town in the north. The largest distance from east to west is 6 kilometers, and the largest distance from north to south is 11.2 kilometers, with a total area of 51 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the total population of Dayang Township registered residence was 25162.
In 1953, Dayang township was established. In 1984, it was changed to Dayang township. As of June 2020, Dayang township has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in zhongchangdian village. There is Xidayang reservoir in Dayang Township, which is the planting site of Tangxian jujube.

In 1958, Dayang management area was established, belonging to beidiantou commune. After the commune moved to Dayang village, it was renamed Dayang commune.

Mingfu Grottoes
Mingfu grottoes, located on the South Bank of the Tang River in the north of Mingfu village, Dayang Township, Tang County, were formed in the Tang and Ming Dynasties. The Ming Fu grottoes, known locally as the "Thousand Buddha cave", are divided into three layers: upper, middle and lower, all of which are built according to the mountain wall. The upper layer no longer exists, the lower layer can not be seen because of the potential water, only the middle layer can be seen.
There are natural stone beds, pillows and mortars in the middle of the Mingfu grottoes. On the west wall, 43 Buddha statues are carved, the largest of which is 60 cm high, the smallest of which is 9 cm high, and most of them are about 28 cm high. On the east wall, there are three Buddha statues sitting on the lotus platform with their knees crossed. On the left side of the 43 Buddha statues in the west wall are inscribed with the name of Buddha. In the middle, there are two supporting figures under the largest Puguang Buddha. In the lower right corner, there are lion statues under Manjusri Bodhisattva. There are two supporting figures under the lion. There is a trace of mural under the statue of group Buddha. There are three traces of murals on the east stone wall. The heads of all the Buddha statues in the cave were smashed during the cultural revolution, and the rest of them were in good condition.

Xidayang reservoir
Xidayang reservoir is located at 1km downstream of Xidayang village in Tangxian County, Tanghe River mouth of Daqing River system. It has a controlled drainage area of 4420 square kilometers and a total storage capacity of 1109.2 million cubic meters.
