Dongguan Street
Dongguan Street, belonging to Linxia city, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Linxia city, bordering Nanyuan village of Chengjiao town in the East, Beibinhe road and Nanlong town across the river in the south, Heping Primary School West Road and Bafang street in the west, qianheyan road xiacaishi street and Chengnan street in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 3.5 square kilometers, and in 2011, the total population of the registered residence was 25917.
In 1955, after withdrawing the district and merging the township, Chengguan sub district office was set up. In November 1956, Dongguan sub district office was established. In 1961, it was under the jurisdiction of Bafang management area of Chengguan commune. At the end of 1973, it was under the jurisdiction of the Revolutionary Committee of Chengguan town of Linxia County after the city was removed and the county was merged. In 1983, the city and county were divided, and the Dongguan sub district office was under the jurisdiction of Linxia city. In October 2019, Dongguan Street governs four communities.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Dongguan Street reached 119.69 million yuan, including 25 industrial enterprises and 997 employees; the industrial added value reached 16.36 million yuan, an increase of 15.8% over the previous year; there were 506 commercial outlets and 15200 employees; the total retail sales of social goods reached 830 million yuan, an increase of 10.8% over the previous year; the balance of various deposits of financial institutions was 132 million yuan, an increase of 4.6% over the previous year; the balance of various loans was 3.15 billion yuan , an increase of 15.7% over the previous year.
